Our wonderful clients bought their home in 2017 and had since completed a full kitchen remodel and renovation of the main living areas of the house. They decided to move out of the country to be closer to their family and contacted us to help sell their beautiful home.

Our clients had a specific timeline for the move and many moving parts with a big international move with kids. We had to prepare the house for the market and complete a number of outstanding items to integrate the non-remodeled bedroom wing of the house with the new wing. 

With the help of $40,000 from Compass Concierge, we helped our clients beautifully prepare the house for sale. Our licensed and trusted vendors completed a number of important projects to create a fully cohesive look and feel. That included:

Exterior paint on older wing of house to integrate with new wing, bathroom updates, new light fixtures, landscaping and new lawn, new hardware. Our clients also installed a new roof on the older section of the house to match the new roof on the other side.

One incredibly important part of the preparation process is pre sale inspections. We had the home fully inspected with a General Home, Wood Destroying Organisms/Termite and Sewer inspection. We also work closely with the Moraga Orinda Fire Department and help our sellers obtain a fire clearance certification that is required for every sale. 

We thoughtfully staged the house with modern furniture and decor to match the look and feel of the home. You can see some before & after photos below. Our staging team has a unique eye for current home trends and aims to make every home look its best both online and in-person. 

Almost every buyer finds the home online and then makes a decision on whether to come see it in person. We use professional photography, including drone images and video to showcase every home in its best light.

We pride ourselves on having one of the most comprehensive marketing programs in Lamorinda. We featured 7 Bates Blvd on every available site where buyers are searching. We also ran digital ads, social media features, a local favorite Lamorinda Weekly newspaper feature, Homefolio luxury magazine feature and more!

After just one weekend of open houses and 5 days on the market, we received a pre-emptive offer. The sellers accepted and then we successfully managed the process to close 30 days later. The Compass Concierge amount was automatically deducted at closing.

Our sellers were incredibly happy with the results and were hugely relieved that we were able to achieve everything they wanted and more within their timeline. They are now focused on their move and are excited for this new chapter in their lives.
